We only request personal data when it is necessary to provide a service, we do it through lawful and transparent means, and we always inform you of the purpose of the collection and how the data will be used.<\/p>

This Privacy Policy describes the terms of personal data processing carried out through the Website, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016\/679 \u2014 \u201cGDPR\u201d) and Law No. 58\/2019, of 8 August.<\/p>

We process users' personal data for the following purposes and on the following lawful grounds:<\/p>

User account and record management<\/strong> \u2014 Identify the registered user on the Website and grant them access to their account, history, and orders. Justification: performance of contract (account terms of use).<\/p>

Order management and service provision<\/strong> \u2014 Process orders for products and services, manage payment, delivery, installation scheduling, exchanges, returns, and invoicing, and send order-related communications. Reason: performance of a sales or service contract and compliance with legal obligations, particularly tax and accounting.<\/p>

Customer support<\/strong> \u2014 To manage and respond to requests for information, incidents, complaints and claims submitted by telephone, email or via forms on the website. Legal basis: performance of the contract, where the request relates to an order or service; compliance with legal obligations, in the case of complaints; and legitimate interest in responding to requests for information from potential customers.<\/p>

Quotation requests<\/strong> To analyse and respond to budget requests submitted via the Website. Basis for processing: pre-contractual measures at the request of the data subject.<\/p>

Marketing<\/strong> \u2014 Manage your newsletter subscription and send communications about Inwatt's products, services, campaigns and news, via email or SMS. Basis: consent of the data subject, which can be withdrawn at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of previous processing.<\/p>

Website Analysis and Improvement<\/strong> \u2014 To carry out statistical usage analyses to evaluate and improve the functioning of the Website and services. Legal basis: consent, in the case of analytics cookies (see Cookie Policy), and\/or legitimate interest in improving services, as applicable.<\/p>

5. Retention periods<\/strong><\/p>

We retain personal data only for the period necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. User account data is retained as long as the account remains active and until it is cancelled by the user. Order, invoicing, and contract data is retained for the applicable legal periods, notably the 10-year period required by tax and accounting legislation, and for warranty and statute of limitations periods. Data processed for marketing purposes is retained until consent is withdrawn or the data subject objects. Contact and quote requests are retained for the period necessary for their management.<\/p>

Once the applicable deadlines have passed, the data is deleted or anonymised.<\/p>

Service providers processing data on behalf of Inwatt act as sub-contractors, bound by contract and obliged to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data.<\/p>

If any provider is located outside the European Economic Area, the transfer of data will be carried out with the appropriate safeguards provided for in the GDPR, namely adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.<\/p>

Inwatt adopts appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure or unauthorised access, taking into account the nature of the data and the risks of processing.<\/p>
